RCA 6SH7 is a pentode that was originally designed for wideband RF amplification. The valve has a relatively high gm value to ensure a good gain-bandwidth product. Quad have used this in their recent Audio amplifier designs as it has excellent audio performance. Also in Audio Note equipment. Matched in pairs on the Amplitrex AT1000.

NOS Russian 6N6P. Made by Reflector. Matched and tested on Amplitrex AT1000. Shurely NOT a pin out equivalent of the ECC99. If you need a ECC99 buy the JJ. More likely the 6N30P tubes. 5000 hours lifespan. Matched 1%. Same pinout as 6DJ8, ECC88, 6922. Big improvement in BAT and Copland amplifiers. Longlife, needs 750 mA glow. Very suitable tube driving a 845 or 300B or 6C33C. Price = for a matched pair of 2 tubes. Batches from 1990-5 and 1990-4. Selected on MU=18.

NOS Dutch Heerlen Philips Miniwatt EF86. Matched on the Amplitrex AT1000. Hard to find in this NOS condition. very good sounding tube. Preferred EF86 longlife mesh type. Price = for 1 matched pair. The EF86 is similar to its precursor, the EF40, but has a noval socket (instead of the rimlock socket). The EF86 type was introduced in 1955 as low hum and low noise type. Code on tube says: 8Y6 L9K1 probably made in Brussels @ Philips factory.
